About me
Hi there! I’m Rachel. Welcome to my website.
I care deeply about relationships and their power to transform our lives. I believe that we grow and heal through relationships; this is the heart of how I operate as a therapist. You and your experience matters to me.
I practice Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT) and Emotionally Focused Therapy (EFT), and I prioritize a flexible, collaborative approach to your mental health treatment and couples therapy, where your safety and wellbeing are at the center.

My therapeutic approach blends the emotional depth and relational focus of Emotionally Focused Therapy with the mindfulness and action-oriented strategies of Acceptance and Commitment Therapy. I’ll guide you through exercises that help you accept difficult thoughts and emotions rather than avoiding or fighting them. We’ll work to identify what truly matters to you and develop strategies to move toward your goals, even when fear, self-doubt, or discomfort arise. You’ll leave with practical tools that help you live more authentically and purposefully.
This combination allows you to gain insight into your emotional landscape, while also taking steps toward change. I’m committed to meeting you where you are and helping you create lasting shifts in both your internal world and your relationships.

In my work with couples, I use Emotionally Focused Therapy (EFT), an evidence-based approach that helps partners break out of painful cycles and reconnect emotionally, reestablish secure bonds, and thrive together as partners. EFT is grounded in attachment theory and focuses on creating a secure, lasting bond by identifying patterns of disconnection and fostering new ways of reaching for each other with openness and care.
